PRAYER AND AFFIRMATION
A prayer is not a prayer until it leaves your lips and comes from the heart. Oftentimes we ask ourselves, why were my prayers or their prayers not heard or answered. They were so repetitious and sincere in their prayers, or I have been so sincere in my religious belief, but why were our prayers not answered. We may lay blame because our pleas and prayers went unanswered. We may have spent many years of our life in devotion, and now when we ask for help, our prayers are unanswered.
Perhaps our petition or prayers were not heard was the reason we received no response. Lip service and facade devotion is not a proper method to communicate with the Divine. Let us suppose we were not heard because our line of communication was broken, or there was static in the line and the party on the other end was not sure of what we wanted, as we were not sure of what we wanted.
So let's first investigate the line of communication, and the apparatus (us) on the sending end of the line of communication.
1- Do we do exactly as we say or is it just lip service. Do we keep our appointments and are we on the time we said we would be.
2- Do we truly believe in what we say and do- or are we unsure and just play a part in the facade, as we are unsure of what to believe.
3- Do we do and act with our heart, or our lips, thinking little lies never hurt anyone.
4- Do we realize everything we think, say, and do is recorded in time and is always available for playback- Need an example: How many times have we often said, "I wish I would have not said that- or had not done that." Apparently these thoughts are recorded somewhere.
On to the cause:
We may find sometimes we did not meet friends when we said we would. Maybe we did not keep promises to our parents or to our children. Could be, we told friends we were going to do something, but at the last minute we changed our minds and did not do as we said we would. We may have promised to help someone, but only because we secretly knew it would help us. Maybe we spoke what was not true against someone.
There are many more causes, and we only need to sit and analyze ourselves, and our past, to come up with some answers. We can now guess perhaps two things from our investigation. One, the receiver heard us and was not sure of what we were asking for- and this probably has saved many of us from ourselves- that we did not get what we asked for. Or, two, our communication or prayer did not reach the other end or the Divine, so there could be no response.
Let's start over and build our foundation as we go. We have the thought, then the right method to have our prayers heard. We have made a foundation by always doing what we say and meaning what we say, that is, with balanced thinking and emotion.
We are sincere and see the results of our prayer. In this way, we can be sure of what we receive for our prayers and be certain this is the result we want. Caution is the lesson in the previous sentence, as much is put on the table to eat.
When we want to be heard, we need to define exactly what we want to say and receive. There is no margin for mistake when we make contact with the other end of the line, for when we ask properly, we shall receive.
We make the prayer and repeat it over and over each time until we become inflamed as the representation of the living prayer. The prayer at this point has entered the heart (and we speak of the spiritual heart of our very being), and we no longer move our mouth as the words have been picked up by our heart and we hear our own words. They are no longer coming from us, as we are the living words (prayer). We are the telegraph and telegraph lines, and we are the medium that reaches the Divine. No further words need be spoken for they cannot be heard here, as we stand, a living prayer of what we ask for. Our life and actions speak for us as we are now the prayer. At this point, we are in complete harmony with the universal rhythm and ourselves a living prayer. What we need is now known, without any further communication. Should the living prayer be true- it will be answered.
One that has gone here never talks about it, as it is the same as a religious experience. A true religious experience can never be talked about as there are no words to explain a religious experience or communication with the Divine. Our thinking and minds are not yet prepared for these thoughts and those that do talk have not experienced.
A few examples of wheels in motion:
Over the years Jea has been involved in many ceremonies and rituals, and on one occasion one took place in a private home in California. There had been a death in the family and a minor problem, of which I do not remember. The people contacted the Temple I was living in at the time and asked for some monks to come and pray at their home. As we entered the home , I could feel a small disturbance and felt there was someone lingering. I decided to observe if this was so, and this was accomplished without physical sight. The prayers started and as the room started the usual feeling when prayers started motion, things began forming. Just before the final prayer, I heard a voice saying they wanted to say something. As I continued watching, by this time a horizontal vortex had set up, with the small end pointing out of the wall, above the heads of the praying monks. As the vortex widened, reaching further into the room, I observed a small figure being sucked into this vortex, and as he was sucked further into the vortex, the vortex grew smaller as the person was sucked through the wall. By the time the monks finished the last prayer, the vortex was completely gone, and I could tell the room had now returned to normal.
Years ago in N. E. Thailand, during an initiation, as I was observing without physical eyes, the person entered the temple and kneeled before the head monk officiating at the ceremony. The room was full of many monks and the room was also alive. I noticed the mat the officiating monk was sitting on was dark blue, bordered in gold. As soon as the monk started chanting, his mat began flashing the complimentary colors and blending as one. As the prayers progressed, several balls ( do not remember how many) separated from his mat and began to also flash the blue and gold colors. The entire time the chanting was going on, these balls circled the top of the room and making other movements. Just before the conclusion of the prayer, the balls entered the body of the person being initiated and drew the energy from the room in with them.
Certain details have been left out of each example, as there is no reason to mention some things here.
The given examples on this page are true, and given here so as to only show something of prayers in motion.
These are two lesser examples--of which there are many.
